Dr Joel Bishop
Joel grew up in the rural town of Drouin, about an hour east of Melbourne. From an early age he developed a passion for Chiropractic due to both his aunty and uncle being Chiropractors in New Zealand for a long while. Joel completed his Bachelor of Applied Science in 2005 and then went on to graduate with a Masters in Chiropractic at RMIT University in 2007. After graduating Joel was practising in a family based chiropractic clinic in the Dandenong area. He has a strong passion for pediatric Chiropractic and is looking forward to completing his Masters in Pediatric Chiropractic also.
Joel enjoys living in the country and serving the Ballarat community. In his spare time he has a keen interest in music, keeping physically fit and active by running, cycling and playing sports such as football (Geelong is his team of choice!).
Dr Kerry Farrell
Kerry grew up in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne and pursued gymnastics at the Victorian Institute of Sport for most of her schooling years. It was because of the high impact that elite sport had on her young body that Kerry became interested in Chiropractic. She quickly realised that with Chiropractic care she was stronger and more flexible after treatments which lead to improved performance at gymnastics. It was because of this that Kerry quickly understood that chiropractic care could increase a child's potential and decided from a young age to strive for a career in chiropractic.
Kerry completed her Masters degree in chiropractic in 2010 at RMIT University in Melbourne. She was awarded the Adam Hyland Memorial Scholarship by Kiro Kids in 2011 and has been studying her Masters of Paediatric Chiropractic under the guidance of Dr. Neil Davies. Kerry has always had a keen interest in paediatrics since a young age, her number one goal being to provide the highest quality of care for her little patients. She is passionate about chiropractic and finds her work extremely rewarding.
Kerry loves the neurological basis and specificity of NIP and the high quality of care received by Kiro Kids patients and feels privileged to treat the members of the Ballarat community. It is her hope that as she strives for excellence in her Masters studies that the knowledge she will gain will benefit her patients and help to serve them better.
Dr Jason d’Hotman de Villiers
Dr Jason d'Hotman de Villiers grew up in Durban, South Africa where he graduated from Durban University with a Master's degree in Chiropractic. Jason has a strong passion for Chiropractic, having worked with the World Congress of Chiropractic Students and has a great interest in Paediatrics. He is currently enrolled in the master's degree in Chiropractic Paediatrics program.
It was during his studies that Jason was introduced to NIP which made sense to him as a chiropractor who understands the importance of optimal neurological function. He keeps active by road and trail running and in his spare time Jason enjoys being outdoors with his family. Jason is very excited to be joining the Kiro Kids community.
Dr Ted Reataza
As a student of Chiropractic, Ted invested many hours observing the discipline of Chiropractic, various techniques and the results each produced. Having worked in rural areas most of his career, the past 8 years has given him great insight into the health issues that are common to these areas.
Chiropractic care also plays a vital role in maintaining overall general wellbeing through regular chiropractic care combined with wise food choices and regular exercise. When he is not consulting he can be found enjoying the simple things in life; nature, food, family and friends.
Dr Lisa Young
After suffering with a chronic illness for more than twenty years, Chiropractic helped me to get my life back. After experiencing the amazing benefits of chiropractic, I decided to give up my job as an architectural draftsperson to become a chiropractor myself so that I too could help people to live their lives to the fullest.
I grew up on my family’s farm in the Macedon Ranges area and have been lucky enough to continue living a rural lifestyle with my husband at Gordon. I am a keen horse rider, and enjoy coaching young riders and judging dressage throughout the district.
At the end of 2016 I graduated from RMIT with my Masters of Clinical Chiropractic and am now thrilled to be working with Dr Neil Davies and the team at Kiro Kids. I am particularly interested in the areas of nutrition, stress reduction and neurology. I am looking forward to expanding my knowledge in these areas whilst serving the Ballarat community.
Dr Rachael Cripps
Dr Rachael Cripps grew up in the United Kingdom and graduated from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic in 2012 with a Masters in Chiropractic. Rachael developed a passion for paediatric care whilst studying, and after meeting Dr Neil Davies at an NIP seminar she was inspired by the technique’s precision and results.
She soon decided that NIP was the way of the future and that paediatric care was her primary focus. After completing her Master degree, she was awarded the Adam Hyland Memorial Scholarship by Kiro Kids in 2013. Rachael packed up her partner and her dog and headed across the ocean to Australia where she has since been working full-time in the Horsham clinic and has been studying her Master of Paediatric Chiropractic under the supervision of Dr Neil Davies.
Rachael has thoroughly enjoyed becoming part of the Horsham community and looks forward to providing chiropractic care for years to come.
